Magnanini Winery, Restaurant & Distillery Apiary in Wallkill, NY

 Tom and his wife Barbara have been friends with the Magnanini family for over 30 years. They have grown from a small family farm winery adding a beautiful restaurant and now a distillery over the years. It has always been a place that we could go to unwind, share some stories and enjoy great homemade food.

After talking about putting in honeybees on the farm for years we finally put 6 new hives on the property on May 2, 2019.

Tom is using these hives for his project while working on his Master Beekeeper Certification from Cornell and to see if there is a possibility to expand the apiary in the future.

Robert Magnanini uses honey to make the Honey Grappa and will be using honey from his property to have an estate made Honey grappa once these hives start producing.

The honey from these hives will be sold at the winery's tasting room, used at the restaurant and maybe even become Magnanini/Wilk Meade in the future.
